Holistic vision and Integral living

(Understanding and applications of deeper truths – holistic perspective based Vitrag vignan and Vedanta philosophy.) Understanding and applications of deeper truths – holistic perspective based Vitrag vignan and Vedanta philosophy.)

Study of Ved and Upanishads have been uplifting, inspiring and aim at overall peace, happiness, harmony, universal love and oneness with ultimate aim of liberation. Self realization or realization of true nature of reality i.e. pure conscious, pure self is the centre of knowledge. Thus it aims at higher living in relative and ultimate experience of pure self or Brahman in real. It throws light on different aspects of life and living, prakruti - purush, atma-parmatma, karmic charge-discharge, liberation, universe, interconnectedness and almost everything.

But one may face a problem, "How to understand core or essence of all of it? More importantly how to achieve results especially in present day living?" It has been aptly said " पोथी पढ़ पढ़ पंडित हुआ न कोई ." At the end four Vedas say "नेतत नेतत."This is not that, this is not that .Scriptures or scholarly information may guide us but knowledge is one which is functional, gives results, makes us experience. Here we try to examine few concepts with reference to how it can lead one to have a happy, harmonious, rich and meaningful living with ultimate aim of liberation.

It has been said, "ब्रह्म सत्य, जगत ममथ्या, जीवो ब्र्हमैव नापर:" Brahman or pure soul is truth and world is illusion. Very form of Jiva is Brahman and not different. But how many of us can experience जगत as ममथ्या? ममथ्या means non real, illusionary. If it would have been so we should have no effects when our near or dear ones or we ourselves are abused or assaulted. We should not be required to do jobs, hard and sincere works. There should be no value of virtues or vices, good or bad. So it is not ममथ्या in that sense. The world within and without is a relative truth and Brahman or atman is real truth. Probably enlightened ones wanted to guide us that permanent happiness does not come from relative world but can be attained only by realizing real self or Brahman. In other words real happiness or bliss of brahman is far superior than all relative worldly pleasures .But here also questions stands as to how can one experience real happiness or bliss of Brahman? How can one renounce relative happiness or restrain चित्तवृतत from dwelling in countless objects and places of worldly pleasures?

The world is the puzzle itself. There are two view points to solve this puzzle, one relative the other eal.

Reality can be understood and experienced as having two aspects, relative or व्यवहार and Real or तनश्िय. Relative is one which is temporary, ever changing, and non self and real is permanent, non changing and true nature of our ‘self’. Only through balance of relative and real one can attain all the results like happy, harmonious, rich, meaningful living, universal oneness, pure love and experience of bliss with liberation. A bird flies with two wings and a train runs on two parallel tracts. So both relative and Real should be parallel. One does not interfere with the other.

Let us first take relative living. Every living being is in search of happiness and peace. It comes from where? Today progress of material sciences has gifted us with abundance of luxuries and comforts. But one still wants to have inner peace and happiness. If one looks within one may have inner and outer clashes, dis-adjustments, stress and lack of harmony. It is said that each human have triple afflictions of आचि,व्याचि और उपाचि.Trident or trishul of Lord Shankar suggests the same. So one needs light of wisdom, light of correct knowledge which can keep one in समाचि or unaffected, blissful state even amidst आचि,व्याचि और उपाचि.

Whenever one decides to help someone, one starts feeling happy, elated and self satisfied even before the other one is helped. On a birthday of a child one decides to hold a small party and one starts feeling happy even before actual event. Even a small act of giving grains to birds brings happiness. Actions of mind, speech, body which are going to make others happy will make one happy first. Before helping others one is helped and before obliging others one is obliged first. So obliging nature is the best way of living. In nature trees, plants, rivers all live for others. And really we are not obliging others but we are obliging our own self.

On other side if I decide to scold or fire someone, I also get disturbed. I may not like to see my face in mirror. Whichever actions of my mind, speech, body are to hurt others will hurt me first. In other words I am affected first by each act of my mind, speech and body either positive or negative. World is ‘me’ only and there is no other in the world. All religions teach us, "give to others what you like to have and don’t give to others what you do not like to have." My perverted intellect may not readily allow me to do so. But when I realize that it affects me and is in my self interest, it becomes my effortless way of living.

Self interest – One who knows what is in my interest and what is not from the perspective of inner happy, harmonious living and freedom can have awakened living. If I deceive or tell a lie, I may have inner clash, stress, rise of pulse and blood pressure. Even a lie detector can detect it. So before deceiving others I am being deceived. Dishonesty is best foolishness.

My own mistakes would bind me or bother me. If I am not over speeding, I would have no tension of traffic police or a camera. What is in my self- interest, to hate or to love, to take revenge or to forgive? Are inner weaknesses like anger, greed, pride, deceit our friends or enemies?

People feel loneliness. But if you start loving others, humans and even other living beings, your heart would be full and happy. ‘वसुिेव कुटुंबकम’ is the result of holistic vision and is my own enriched living. By understanding holistic science of life and living all results would be achieved effortlessly.

Holistic visions for happy harmonious living:

Avoid clashes- clashes lead to loss of inner spiritual energy. Decide to avoid clashes and inner light would guide you. Everyone is right by his or her own view point. Adamancy or insistence leads to clashes. Worldly truths are all relative, changing and subjective or belief based. Real or eternal truths are different. Settle amicably situations you face.

Worldly truths are all relative, changing and subjective or belief based. Real or eternal truths are different. Settle amicably situations you face.

Adjust everywhere –one who can master the art of adjustment would not only be happy in this world but would also sail to liberation. But how to adjust with different personalities at home or at work? Every human personality is like a tree or a plant in a garden. Each one is different but none without a fruit or a flower. Recognize and use fruit or a flower and never complain of a thorn. Appreciate what one knows and never complain of short comings.

Win your own home and world need not be conquered. Husband-wife should live as good friends.

As we try to understand deeper truths we would try to examine following few questions

1. What is in my realm and what is not?

2. What is fate and free will?

3. Am I independent doer?

4. How the natural regulatory system functions to give result of karmas? Unique research of Scientific Circumstantial evidence.

5. What is karma and karmaphal? How Cause and effect, charge and discharge take place?

6. Science of prakruti( relative self ) and purush (Real self or Atman)

7. Pratishtit atman- belief soul, migratory soul or enworhlded soul.

8. Science of pure conscious and matter along with other eternal elements

9. Self realization. – Who am I and who am I not? What are my attributes and what are not? This is that, this is that.

10. Inner journey from self realization towards liberation- step less or Akram path

11. Bahirmukh atman, antaratma and parmatama

12. Pragna or enlightened wisdom.

13. Relative inner self- mind, reflective consciousness, intellect and ego.

14. Three types of body.

15. Akram vignan- a step less and easy path - My journey.

Human life- a unique live experiment.

As I say experiment, it implies that experiment and experimenter both have to be separate. Which is the experiment here? My mind, body, speech , processes which are going on within and having connection to things outside- animate and inanimate, all constitute an ongoing experiment and ‘I am’ or me is there as an experimenter. Let us understand how the experiment is going on. First focus would be on experiment where experimenter is living as ‘I am name bearer’ and ‘I am doer’. The whole word is by and large into it.

What is in my realm and what is not?

Let us examine questions, ‘What can I do independently and what can I not do independently?’ ‘What is in our realm and what is not? Are we independent doer?’Upon asking most of us may say we were independent in coming here as we wanted and we came. Is that true? Suppose I was to come here but was stuck in traffic or car broke down, I myself fell sick or some other urgent or unfavorable circumstance came up then ?Each happening of life needs so many gross to subtle circumstantial evidences to come together in harmonious sequence within and without having connectivity of the past, present and future. Even for want of a single circumstance, things don’t happen. Space ship carrying Kalpana broke apart just for failure of thermal insulation.

I say, " I did a good surgery" so long as my patient praises me and results are favorable but if someone gets complications, what would I say? "I tried my best but what I can do as your body responded differently". A CEO of a company may say "I managed the company in excellent way" when there is profit. But what happens in case of a loss? He may blame economy, colleagues or something else. When happenings are favorable we say "I did it." But when they are not, we blame various circumstances. Do I have independent control over all circumstantial evidences required for each happening?

Have you ever thought that while you are asleep at night, who runs all the inner activities like beating of heart, digestion, excretion and so on? What would happen if heart doesn’t beat even for few seconds? Are we doer here?

Looking inside, am I independent about my mind, speech and body? If I am independent about my mind, mind should not harass me. It should not show me unwanted thoughts, and should not sometimes take away my sleep. Am I independent about my speech? It appears to be so. But so many times it happens that even though I have decided to say or speak in particular way, something else comes out. And sometimes I regret also "I should not have spoken like that".

Krishna, Mahavir and Dada Bhagwan highlight that in part of happenings which involve ‘prakruti’, mind, speech, body, inner circumstances and the outer circumstances accumulated by nature, we are not independent. We are not independent doer but are instrumental doer and it happens as per the scientific circumstantial evidences (SCE) coming together. There is no one on the earth who can have total command or control over all the circumstances

Where is our independence?

Then next question is, "where my independence is? And what I am supposed to do in my life?" Only where I am independent I can exercise my free will part.

Life has two parts. One is part of happenings which is dependent on scientific circumstantial evidences and other is the part of Decisions or projections. Belief of doer ship egoism in part of happenings is mere illusion and only relative free will one has is in part of decision, projections or bhav.

In part of happenings one is dependent on so many circumstances and so we can say it is fate or ‘prarabdh’. Here fate or ‘prarabdh’ does not indicate that outcome is pre decided and one should do nothing. No, one has to try best t but there is interplay of so many circumstances and hence dependency where as free will is a part independent of circumstances. So which is that part? My inner decision, my projection or my ‘‘bhav’’ is my free will part. It is relative free will and real free will starts only after knowing who I am.

Out of 200 people sitting here would everyone’s inner decision be same when they walk out of the seminar at the end of the day? No outer actions are same but inner decisions would be different for everybody. Somebody’s inner decision would be, ‘let me know this science in-depth and have experience.’ Somebody will have decision of not coming again.

There is an interesting story. A monk used to live on one bank of a river and on the other bank, a royal dancer used to live. Each one was looking at the other. A monk used to harbor in his heart, "She has a better life with money, glamour and all richness. Better I would have been like her. A dancer used to feel, "what a serene or pious life. I should be like that.

When these inner projections or decisions would bear fruits the roles would be changed.

Living as ‘I am name bearer’ such positive and negative ‘bhav’ or projections arise spontaneously and incessantly from moment to moment. I may have bhav to help or to hit someone. Depending on my prevailing understanding I decide to agree or disagree to it. Once I sign i.e. agree or disagree to it, it becomes a projection to be stored in my inner individual computer and also to be linked as fed data to vast cosmic computer like system of nature. This is my part of inner decision or relative free will. This is a very subtle and important science.

Lord Krishna has said ‘कममण्येवाचिकारस्ते मा फलेशु कदािन’. Here all understood ‘karma’ by activities or by actions seen and done by five senses or mind and speech. No, it is the secondary ‘karma’ done by ‘prakruti’ based on previous ‘bhavs’. It is fruit, result or effect whereas ‘karma’ as seed or cause is being done within in a form of inner ‘bhav’, projection or decision. Suppose, I do not have resources or money to help someone even if I want but I can certainly have the ‘bhav’, to help "I would help as and when possible."

How does the natural regulatory system work?

When young, one would have inner planning to have one wife. Then one would have another ‘bhav’or projection that she should be educated. Or she should be less educated, but should be obedient. One may add that she should be beautiful, or my father in law should be rich and so on. All these projections occurring inside one’s own self as a planning where ‘I am’ is involved makes a blue print. This data is stored in one’s own individual computer which is not seen by anyone else. Also it is fed to nature’s computer. The natural regulatory system works like the vast cosmic computer. Nature says, ‘wait, time is not ripe.’ You have to be 22, 23 or 24 to get the result and at that time nature will provide all circumstantial evidences and a wife would be given at that time. But the result has to come in a scientific way. One is not given only a wife even though one had asked only this much. One is given father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and more in addition.

Likewise whatever I am receiving in the form of happenings or circumstances is being given by the natural system but not independently. Nature is not independent or free to give me results. It gives me the results based on my fed data. If I have not projected to have a wife or projected to be a celibate, it would not give. One projection or bhav of being a doctor and nature accumulates all circumstances like college, professors, student friends, patients, hospital staff and so much.

It’s the organized orderly system of giving results or effects. Creation is done by humans; living as I am name barer but disposal is done by natural regulatory system. Even inspiration comes from that system based on the previous data. When I cleared my qualifying examination of preparatory science, I was getting admission everywhere and my father told me, "You better become CA" but I was inspired and driven from within to become a doctor. Today if I would have to make a decision I would have been a charted accountant.

In a happening what should one do? Do all your efforts in a best possible way. For example, drive your car having eyes open with care, caution and best of your abilities and then if something happens it is nature’s play. In other words do your best and leave rest to nature. After the result has come, accept as, ‘whatever has happened is just and correct’. Lord Krishna wanted us to understand this much in Geeta, ‘whatever happened is just and correct’ because it is based on natural regulatory system. But it is to be said after happening and not before happening. In a worldly court it may even be called injustice but in this natural system there is no injustice even for a fraction of a second and to the extent of an atom or a molecule. So, do not incur double loss within. One loss is inevitable by way of happenings but do not suffer the after effects arising out of ignorance.

Scientific circumstantial evidences (SCE)

Who has created the universe? If God has created it then he would be responsible for all good and bad. Even a thief says that God guides him. And if created it has a beginning and so would have an end. No, God is creator is correct by Hindu view point, Muslim view point, and Christian view point not by fact. By fact it is only scientific circumstantial evidences. Universe is perpetual but undergoes transformations. Even Stephen Hawking said that universe does not need a creator.

SCE is the basis of regulation of the universe as well as our life and living. Whatever happens in our life is as per SCE provided by nature in response to fed data of our projections. If one can understand SCE all puzzles and doer ship ego would come to an end.

A simple, scientific and novel path for meaningful living

Every one suggests us to remain honest, kind, forgiving and free from anger, greed, pride and other sins. We very much wish to do all of it. But often fail to achieve the desired change and get confused or frustrated. People say ‘I know but cannot put in practice.’ Duryodhan had said the same, ‘जानामी िममम निमे प्रवृतत, जानामी अिमम नि मे तनवृतत’।

But can one change fruits or effects? One needs to change seeds or causes.

Behavior or present personality is the result, effect or fruit of previously laid down causes in form of previous beliefs, opinions and projections. It may or may not be changed immediately. This science does not ask for forcible change of behavior or prakruti. But it imparts correct understanding which is very easy. Understanding results in change of inner opinion, decision or projection which serve as new causes or seeds and behavior would result as a fruit. This science needs one to understand things as it is and behavior would follow or result naturally.

If someone is trapped in some mistake or bad habit, he or she should ask for forgiveness from within. Oh Lord, this is my mistake. I beg pardon. Please forgive me and give me inner strength such that I would not commit such mistake again.

This simple scientific path offers all solutions.

How best to use relative free will?

Having known free will in form of inner decisions or bhavnas, which should be our principal decisions, projections or bhavanas?

1. Let my mind, speech, body not hurt any living being in the world to slightest extent and let my mind, speech, body make others happy.

2. I want to know who am I and what is my perpetual or permanent Self? I want to know the eternal truth. So I will pray to whomsoever I believe, to give me such circumstances that I can know that. Further I may wish to see self realized or enlightened person known as Gnani Purush who has experience of real self and can make me realize it.

3. It is supported by nine divine codes of conduct to be used as hearty resolutions and bhavans, reference of which can be found in annexure 1. Essence of all Holy Scriptures is contained in it.

4. Divine cleaning process in form of confession, apology and resolution for whatever mistakes done, one should confess and ask for apology within heart. One further asks for inner strength not to commit such mistake again.

5. Decide goals, remain sincere, work hard, pray and nature would help to fulfill it.

Who am I?

Let’s try to understand most subtle part of human experiment in a simple way.

I may have known everything and all scriptures but do I know who I am? One who has known who I am has known everything. Permanent or real happiness starts after knowing who I am? Also experiment is different once experimenter is aware of one’s own real self.

When I say my name is Shailesh, who is ‘I’ then? When I say that this is my wrist watch, the wrist watch and the owner has to be different. I say my wife, my children, my house, my mind, my speech, my body, even I say my karmas, my beliefs, my feelings and my egoism. My egoism is preventing me from asking pardon. Everything which I am saying as 'my' or ‘mine’ if put aside on one side than what remains on other side is 'I.' I believe that I am name bearer which is true by relative point of view but 'who am I' by real point of view?

There are happenings in part of 'my'. Everything which falls under 'my' or 'mine' is continuously changing and also it has a beginning and an end. When it is the continuously changing part, one who knows that it is changing has to be constant or non changing. Also one which knows that it has a beginning and an end or is temporary has to be without beginning and an end or permanent. Thus 'I' is there as knower , seer and is permanent but out of my ignorance I have two parts mixed up, 'my' as temporary and 'I' as permanent. In mathematics if I say: A is multiplied by B, either both have to temporary or both have to be permanent to get the correct answer. Here I multiply permanent with the temporary and I look for the answer in form of permanent happiness. How can it be correct? In other words doer and knower cannot be one but must be separate. So I say I did it and I also say I knew it, both cannot be same, it has to be separate.

One needs to separate ‘I’ and ‘my’ with Gnani’s separator.

Pure conscious and matter- Science of ‘Atman’ and ‘Prakruti’

What is the science of prakruti and pure self or Atman? Properties of ‘my’ that is parkruti and the property of ‘I’ that is pure soul are completely separate and distinct. None of the property of Prakruti is there in pure soul and none of the property of pure soul is there in Prakruti. Scientifically what is happening? Pure conscious and matter both are elements. Each element has to have its existential matter, innate properties and functionality. Pure Conscious or Pure Soul has its own existential matter, innate properties and inherent functionality. Matter also has its form, shape, color, taste and its functional aspects. As two elements come together extra special properties do get generated. When two elements come together it results into either a mixture or a compound having properties different from original ones. Here as pure conscious and matter come together the extra special properties come up which constitute a living being or ‘prakruti’ which in case of a human is as ‘ I am name barer, I am doer, anger, pride, greed, deceit, attachment or aversion. Everything of it is neither the property of Pure Soul neither the property of matter. They have come as extra special properties as the two things have come together. The Holistic scientist knows this very well and also knows how this is operative or how it can be separated in everybody’s best interest.

Pure Soul is having existential matter which is formless, shapeless but it is certainly there in the form of ‘chaitanya’ with its own innate innumerous properties out of which three are main ones. To know, to see and bliss are the three main ones which can separate it from all other elements. People say, ‘Pure self is quality less. How can it be? It is not having any quality with reference to qualities of a prakruti but has its own innumerable qualities. Matter also has its existential matter with innate properties or attributes. There is no change in existential matter or innate properties of either of them, only the phases are changing and that’s the universe all about.

As two elements Chetan and matter come together, extra special properties are generated in form of I am name bearer, I am doer, anger, greed, pride, deceit, attachment or aversion and prakruti as a whole.

Clashes lead to loss of inner spiritual energy. Decide to avoid clashes and inner light would guide you. Everyone is right by his or her own view point. Adamancy or insistence leads to clashes.

Having known free will in form of inner decisions or , which should be our principal decisions, projections or
Further I may wish to see self realized or enlightened person known as who has experience of real self and can make me realize it.
3. It is supported by nine divine codes of conduct to be used as hearty resolutions and reference of which can be found in annexure 1.

One needs to separate ‘I’ and ‘my’ with separator.

Here as pure conscious and matter come together the extra special properties come up which constitute a living being or ‘prakruti’ which in case of a human is as ‘ I am name bearer, I am doer, anger, pride, greed, deceit, attachment or aversion.

As two elements and matter come together, extra special properties are generated in form of I am name bearer, I am doer, anger, greed, pride, deceit, attachment or aversion and as a whole.

This simple graphic helps to conceptually understand what really happens. Extra special properties are neither the innate properties of Pure Soul nor the innate properties of matter but they have come up as the two elements have come together. In science we know that when the two elements come together the extra properties do get generated and it can make either a mixture or a compound. Here it’s a mixture.

This is another diagrammatic representation. Pure Soul is having its dravya that is formless existential matter with basic inherent properties or attributes. Matter is also having dravya that is existential matter with form, touch, taste, smell etc and with its own basic inherent properties or attributes. For both elements their existential matter or inherent properties don’t change. So what is changing or what is being seen or perceived as changing are only the phases of both. As they come together, the phases of matter and the phases of Pure Soul Self are changing, and that is what we perceive as life, living and the changing phases of the life. In presence of other four elements to help them.

Soul or chetan is a science and that’s why all other sciences are there. Without it, the other sciences especially one which is related to my life and living would not have been there. Without soul or Chetan, sciences of living beings may not exist.

How can one know the Pure Soul Self with its attributes? Can it be known by the tools of the laboratory? It can be known by the inner tools because it is having the nature of knowledge light, perception light, and bliss. So I can perceive it, I can know it, I can experience it. It can know itself as well as it can know others. And this really starts by the process of self realization or initiation.

Cause and effect or charge and discharge of karmic bonds.

Karmas are physical entities though very subtle which come in contact of pure self or atman. There are two main types, one in form of seeds or causes and other in form of effects or fruits. Whenever ‘I am’ gets involved and signs inner projections, pure atoms or molecules get sucked in and get charged. Outside they were in natural state. The matter in itself is non- live but as it gets charged, it appears to be live. So it is known as non live- live.

Either I may have the inner decision or rage reaction that I will slap him or I may have the inner decision that I will help him. According to bhav or inner state of existential being atoms and molecules would be charged . Collectively all charged matter makes subtle causal body from which at appropriate time new mind, speech, body are formed. . These charged karmas or causes are linked to natural regulatory system as fed data. When time is ripe this system gives result by inspiration along with accumulation and dispersion of scientific circumstantial evidences within and without. By giving effects charged matter gets discharged.

This process of charge and discharge continues so long as I am having egoism. Conviction or belief that I am name bearer and I am doer itself is egoism. With the grace of a "Gnani Purush" if I get free of wrong belief and have right belief then I remain separate from an experiment as ‘I am Pure Self and I am ‘Knower and Seer’ only. I am not doer but the natural regulatory system is. Then just discharge continues and charge stops. That’s the point where inner bliss starts and that’s the point where I am not inviting new ‘karmic’ bondages or I am on the path of liberation.

There are three types of body being described, one which medical professionals know to the microscopic levels that is gross body, and second is an electrical body, aura body, vitality or energy body which is being measured by electro cardiogram, electromyogram, and electroencephalogram. Third is the causal body which is said to be so subtle that except for the absolute ones or the realized Gnani Purush, nobody can really see it. Then there is the Pure Soul Self or Chetan in whose presence the whole play is going on.

Pratisthit Atman’-belief soul, migratory soul

For the first time Gnani purush Dada Bhagwan has also revealed about 'Pratisthit Atman' that is belief soul or migratory soul. It is the foundation of ongoing world. What is functioning as I am name bearer, I am doer along with various beliefs, anger, pride, greed, deceit, attachment, aversion, relative inner self and relative outer self is this 'Pratisthit Atman or migratory soul. It is not pure conscious but mixture of Conscious and matter. It is mechanical conscious ,charged matter or non live- live. It is like a charged idol. As previously generated 'Pratisthit Atman is discharged out by giving results, new one gets generated within.

Prakruti dharma and Atmadharma

Prakruti is our special creation by living as I am name bearer and doer. All beliefs, opinions, mind, speech, body along with inner weaknesses of anger, greed, pride, deceit form it. Prakruti is having satvik, rajsik or tamasik variants but pure self is completely free of all these. All the doings and religions of doing fall in part of prakruti where as atmadharma starts after realizing pure self and it is knowing-seeing , awareness and bliss. So long as I have not realized who I am, all purusharth are relative ones. Real purusharth starts after I know purush or pure self.

Self-realization or initiation

Such a state can be achieved through ‘self realization’ or ‘initiation’. It is not by words but by experience. If it would have been by words, every scholar of Geeta, Veda and Aagam would have already achieved it. But four Vedas have to say at the end ‘नेतत नेतत’. Experience of pure self is not here.

In good times it was possible by ‘kram’ means step by step path. But in present times, even for a genuine seeker it is very difficult to understand the core or essence of subtle truths whether one is trying to achieve it through Geeta, Vedas or Agamas. And it is still more difficult to achieve the results. In Geeta Krishna Bhagwan said ‘काम से क्रोि हे, क्रोि से बुद्धि नाश हे और बुद्धि नाश से सवमनाश हे’। Now question for me is how to curtail ‘Kam’? Krishna said one who sees me in everybody will get me. How to see Krishna in everybody? One is my servant and one is my boss. He wants us to be free of prakruti having three basic qualities but how can I be like that so long as I am name bearer? How to achieve all these results?

In present time, why are we not succeeding through step by step path? Reason being there is disparity in mind, speech and body. I speak differently then what I think and I behave differently then what I speak. My mind, body, speech instrument has not remained harmonious. Hence in present time as per our experience and humble view it is achievable through ‘Akram’ or step less path, which is by way of grace. Today it is being achievable by grace. What type of grace? From where? How? It is grace of a self realized, enlightened, experienced Gnani purush. Who is the "Gnani Purush"? "Gnani" is one who knows the self and non self, Relative self and Real self by experience. Whose experience of the Pure Soul Self has been stabilized, who appears to be living like us but from within whose mineness belief from mind, speech and body has totally vanished, whose all doer ship egoism has totally gone and because of such a pure state of being from within, his body becomes instrumental in the grand scheme of mother nature for all the aspirants or seekers to have self realization or initiation. He can illuminate all faiths, all beliefs or areas of life. Holistic scientist A.M. Patel was such a Gnani in whom Dada Bhagwan opened out as absolute pure knowledge light, absolute pure vision light and with infinite bliss. That very much ‘Dada Bhagwan’, that very much ‘Krishna’, that very much ‘Lord Mahavir’ is within each one of us, elementally being same. Only thing that pure self is to be recognized and opened out. In the present time Shree Kanudadaji’s body temple is existent and through him, ‘Dada Bhagwan’s grace’ is functional today. Dada Bhagwan is a state of being; it is not a personal state. Anybody can be ‘Dada Bhagwan’ if one can attain that state. It’s functional for the aspirants who want to try, test and experience that.

‘Kram’ or step by step path and ‘Akram’ or step less path

What is the difference between ‘Kram’ and ‘Akram’? As I said the ‘Kram’ goes from out to in, from outer purification to inside and in ‘Akram’ by grace you are given the experience or initiation of self so inner purification takes place first and subsequently the outer purification happens effortlessly. With initiation wrong belief that I am Shailesh, name barer and I am doer, is fractured and right belief that ‘I am Pure Self’ sets in. Before that I was ‘Bahirmukh-aatma’ and all my reflective consciousness was wandering outside. With initiation I become ‘antara-atmaa’. My ‘vruti’ or reflective consciousness starts moving towards my own Pure Self, my own home and my journey towards ‘Parramatta State’ (Supreme Pure Self) starts. So long as doer ship and ownership beliefs are there, one has not realized the Pure Self. Two basic wrong beliefs, ‘I am name barer’ and ‘I am doer’ are responsible for the new ‘karmic’ bonds. ‘Pragna Shakhty’ or enlightened wisdom is created as soon as one is initiated by grace. Pragna Shakhty keeps on alerting us and makes this science an effortless self functional science. It has been my humble experience through last 34 years that whenever needed light of Pragna comes in to correct vision and leads to the resolution and correct experience.

Five fundamental precepts

Five simple percepts are given; first two are divine vision of ‘relative view point’ and ‘real view point’.

By relative view point we are all what we are. Somebody is my father, somebody is my brother, somebody is my son but by real viewpoint, I am pure Soul self and I see pure Soul self in every living being. This is the vision Krishna gave Arjun in form of divine vision. These are two nays ‘vyavhar-nay’ and ‘nischay-nay’ which Mahavir wants to give us to progress on path to liberation. Same thing, very much the same thing, has been given as continuing experience to many by Dada Bhagwan. Third percept is world regulatory ‘vyavsthit Shakti’ or scientific circumstantial evidences which can make us free from doer ship beliefs. Fourth percept is to settle all interconnected inter relational accounts with whomsoever I come across including my patients. I have to settle all accounts amicably with equanimity. And fifth is to open a new account of pure self. All the accounts on the present moment are in the name of name barer and they all are relative accounts. The account of the Pure Soul self is the real. And I believe and experience that nothing in the universe is out of ambit of these five percepts. Dadaji went ahead and said that even without initiation or grace even at the level of righteous intellect if one tries to understand five fundamental precepts, one can progress a lot and things can be very simple.

As far as yoga is concerned, people are trying at the level of body, speech and mind. These are good steps. But ultimate aim is to achieve the ‘atmyoga’. And if you have been fortunate to have ‘atmyoga’ the steps may or may not be necessary.

Science of relative inner self i.e. mind, reflective consciousness, intellect, ego and speech may be discussed at some other place and time.

At the end my most humble tribute to Gnani Purush His holiness Dada Bhagwan and Kanudadaji with whose grace this vision has been opened out and inner journey has started .This holistic vision makes me free of all differences and enables to feel as one with all living beings.

Few Aphorisms and reference Shlokas

With reference to Prakruti and world of forms and shapes it is quality less, but it is full of its own qualities. No element can be without its qualities or properties. Also it is inactive in comparison to Prakruti. But on its own it has natural activity of knowing and seeing.

It is described as not this, not that. But it must be known what it is along with what it is not.

Who I am and who is doer? If this much is known all puzzles are solved.

Having right vision one gets rid of wrong beliefs like "I am body. I am doer and sufferer."And gets right belief that I am pure self, just knower and seer, full of bliss.

There is no difference in ultimate knowledge light as revealed by enlightened ones in the past, present or future. Only the method differs and is according to prevailing time and circumstances.

Experience is beyond words. But words of enlightened and experienced one would help one to attain it.

A brief explanation:

1st Diamond

-Ego means ‘I am’ that is to say ‘I am name bearer’. Ego is very existence or life for all human beings. Only two things happen in interactive dealings, either Ego is boosted or hurt. No one can be happy by hurting anyone’s ego. Whenever our ego is hurt by our mind, speech or body we would have inner disturbance first and in addition there would be reactionary behavior, echo or revengeful attitude from one whose ego is hurt. One who would not hurt anyone’s ego anytime would straight away attain the ultimate blissful state. So this first code of conduct is of prime significance.

- ‘Syadvad’ means a vision, an all-embracing approach that would take into account all different view-points in a situation and would not hurt anyone’s view-point. It enables one to know by what angle and to what extent it is correct. It also enables one to know the ultimate correctness. Everyone is correct by his/her own view-point and understanding, and there is some truth in each of the view-points. Only through ‘syadvad’ one can succeed in not hurting any one’s ego or view-point. In simpler words one asks for inner strength of balanced thinking, speech or act.

2nd Diamond

-As per Holistic/ Vitrag science, there are several (fourteen lac) layers of human beings depending on belief planes and inner development. All have different developments. As there are many classes from K.G. to College and University degree, so are standards in spiritual development too. And according to the standard, the person will get along with a particular religion or preacher. So all religions are correct but not the same!

3rd Diamond

-In true sense any monk, nun, preacher or religious head tries to show some light to mankind. Uttering untrue adverse things means to misrepresent or tell which is not true.

4th Diamond

-When we hate or dislike anyone, we see the packing (outer body) and don’t see the material (pure self) inside. Moreover it reflects back on our own self. Indifference that is disregard with dislike and hatred (or contempt) are two main faults one may have towards any living being. One who can get rid of these two would attain very high state of being.

5th Diamond

-In present times most of the bondages are due to language or speech only. Speech is such that it hurts others, pierces through heart or may lead to rivalry and revengeful attitude. Words can lead to wars and words can also resolve wars. One should have a continuous decision and ardent desire (‘bhavna’) as to how speech can be improved, how it can become sweet, sober and soothing, making others happy.

6th Diamond

-Here focus is to abstain from carnal deeds or sensual/sexual misendeavours of all kinds by mind, speech and body both directly and indirectly. One has human right to get involved in sensual pleasures with one’s own lawful spouse. But any thought, act or even a passionate stare towards anyone else is a serious fault. Everyone lawfully belongs to someone. Today it forms a major weakness or a major binding factor, so one should be aware of it.

- Fearless in sensual pleasures leads to moral degradation. But really speaking, the happiness of pure soul surpasses all the sensual pleasures. Desire for sensual pleasures is one of the principal causes of bondage to humans. Yet the Vitrag (one who is totally free from attachments (raga) and aversions (dewsha)) do not object when it is in normality and with your lawful spouse to whom you are married.

-To keep ourselves pure, it is utmost necessary to pray daily for such strength and it is especially pertinent in present time.

7th Diamond

-It is said that all six tastes are necessary to maintain health. (They are bitter, chilly, sour, salty, astringent and sweet) Imbalance, i.e. excess of one or absence of the other may affect harmony. So it is advisable to take all the six tastes in proper proportions.

8th Diamond

-Doing any such thing towards anyone is going to affect the self-first.

9th Diamond

-Our own welfare is automatically included in our wishing for the welfare of the world.
